See पछि सही बिषय कसरी छान्ने: विद्यार्थीहरूका लागी सहि मार्गदर्शक
After the Secondary Education Examination (SEE), students often have several possible routes ahead. The best choice is not simply the stream that friends select; it is a route that fits interests, learning strengths, resources and longer-term possibilities.
Understand your interests before choosing
Review which subjects you enjoy enough to study in depth. Strong marks can show aptitude, but curiosity and the willingness to practise matter too. Make a short list of topics you would like to explore further and note the skills you want to build.
Discuss that list with family members, teachers or a counsellor. Ask what daily learning looks like in each stream, rather than relying only on labels or popular opinion.
Compare streams and learning routes
Science, management, humanities and technical or vocational paths develop different combinations of knowledge and practical skills. Compare the required subjects, assessment style and future study routes for each option.
Check the entry requirements of the colleges or programmes you are considering. School results, finances, travel distance, scholarships and the quality of teaching can influence what is practical for you.
Make a decision you can revisit
Visit prospective institutions when possible, speak with current students and read course outlines carefully. Prepare questions about laboratory work, projects, teaching schedules and academic support.
Choose a pathway with confidence but stay flexible. Skills can be developed through reading, short courses, projects and later study, even when a first choice changes.
Practical checklist
- List three favourite subjects and why they appeal to you
- Compare at least two study streams and their entry requirements
- Discuss costs, location and support with your family
- Ask teachers or counsellors about realistic next steps
